Affiliate Disclosure

How we identify affiliate links, sponsorships, and other relationships that could influence how readers evaluate our content.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

What an affiliate relationship means

An affiliate relationship means we may receive compensation when a reader follows a specially tracked link and completes an action, such as opening an account or purchasing a service. The reader may not pay more because of that relationship, but the potential compensation is still material and will be disclosed.

How we disclose relationships

  • Disclosures will use direct language such as “affiliate link,” “sponsored,” or “we may earn a commission.”
  • The disclosure will appear close to the recommendation or link and remain visible on common screen sizes.
  • A brand name, discount code, or link by itself will not be treated as sufficient disclosure.
  • Sponsored placements will be visually distinguishable from independent editorial content.

Editorial independence

Compensation does not guarantee favourable coverage or control our methodology. We aim to describe meaningful benefits, costs, limitations, and eligibility conditions. Reviews and testimonials must reflect actual experience or clearly identified third-party evidence.

Your responsibility

Products and promotions can change. Verify current fees, terms, availability, risks, and tax implications with the provider before acting. Affiliate content is general information and is not a personalized financial recommendation.
